Summary
It’s the night before the last fight against Corypheus, and Luella Lavellan is 1) plagued by uncertainty, 2) grim and fatalistic, and 3) a little too good at convincing Solas to put whatever he has going on, on pause. Just in case it really is her last night to live.
She was on her feet again and stood before him, bare hand reaching out to hold his cheek. Luella didn’t push, nor guide; he turned down to face her all on his own. In the darkness they were both monochrome, but she could sense glazes of colour washed over her as she felt his soft gaze, his warm cheek. When he reached up and held her hand there, she realised her fingers had been cold, his skin burning against them.

Summary
In the end it was simple: a decision as easy as breathing and a kiss that tasted like blood, like tears, like a decade of longing.
Standing atop the ruined precipice of Blighted Minrathous, Eira could not help but think that it was ending how it all began, bathed in the blinding green light of the Fade—but this time she was stepping into it, sure and resolute and unafraid. It was easier to be brave, anyway, with her hand tucked into the fold of Solas’s arm and the familiar warmth of his magic awash around her.
Eira follows Solas into the Fade.
