    It looks like no one else is around. The skate park is empty. Not even a sighting of Tadashi’s car parked anywhere nearby. Had Reki taken too long to get here? Or did Adam leave once he realized Reki wasn’t going to send a reply? The only sound Reki can hear is the nightly neighborhood sounds of bugs chirping and a car on a late-night drive somewhere.

    Reki should be at home in bed. That’s where he was planning to go once he left S early, but he couldn’t stop himself from going to the skate park. Just in case - just in case Adam -
