As a long-time SHIELD agent, Ava knows missions go sideways more often than not and she had learned long ago not to obsess over the contributing factors — but John almost died. They were blindsided, had no idea the building was equipped with quantum disruptors, pulsing within every inch of the walls and floor, rendering her phasing useless. If John hadn’t been there….
