He was always so kind when he was younger, so open and giving with his affection that it was impossible for the cold, touch starved Chu Wanning to not desire it. And now more so in the years since, with how warm Mo Ran has become, like sunshine and an open fire, freely giving smiles and words to anyone that might ask it of him.
And on top of it all, Mo Ran has turned into such a handsome beauty that Chu Wanning’s poor, rotten heart really never stood a chance.
Chu Wanning and Mo Ran are tasked with exterminating a lingering threat that forces them both to confront some uncomfortable memories and truths kept close to heart.
