Leaning against the doorframe, James takes a second to study the sway of his hips, the curve of his back, the hint of his profile. He doesn’t need to look at his face to know he’s beautiful, angelic even, but even watching him with intent sometimes can’t prepare him for that swooping sensation of knowing that the man in front of him is his. “You’re staring,” Regulus comments, light eyes flicking towards James as he glances back over his shoulder. His gaze softens, one corner of his mouth tugs up into a pleased smile, and James is in love, desperately so.
