Summary
“Hey, baby, sorry I didn’t call,” Jason slurs. The words don’t sound much like English through the lingering sedative and the broken nose and split lip, but the Soldier has had plenty of practice understanding people who are trying to speak through sedatives and broken noses and split lips. He’s fluent. The words still don’t make any sense, though.
The Soldier prowls closer, moving cautiously around the chair until he can nudge the green-haired corpse with a none-too-gentle toe.
Jason lets out a soft, wounded noise that echoes in the empty warehouse. One bright turquoise eye is wide; the other is swollen shut.
“You’re not Clint,” he says, shaky.
The Soldier lifts his hand in an awkward greeting, realizes it’s still holding a gun, and promptly lowers it again to fire the remaining two bullets into the green-haired man’s heart.
[Or: Bucky comes back.]

Summary
There were barely any patrons at that time of night. Morning? Whatever. It meant that it wasn't long before the server came over to find Clint slumped onto the table with his forehead pressed to the tacky surface and his hands covering the back of his neck.
"Are you ready to order or do you need a few minutes?"
"Just coffee for now," Clint told the tabletop.
A few minutes passed an a mug was set on the table. Clint listened to the liquid filling the mug but didn't move to take it when it was full.
"Need any creamer?"
"No."
There was a long enough pause Clint thought the waitress had left, but then, "Need to talk?"
"No," he said, knowing full well he sounded sulky. "Just. Why did I do that? It was so stupid."

Summary
Clint's College Roommate is hot. Like, really hot.
The problem is just, he's too shy for his own good. It took weeks until he even started to get comfortable in the small space they were sharing, and even now, he had barely seen the other man without his shell of black jeans, black hoodies and black boots.
Clint can understand it, living with a disability sucks, and living with one as obvious as missing his left arm and leg and needing a cane and prosthetic to walk even more so.
