Summary
It’s hard, to be someone who so much depends on. Someone who only exists to serve others, to push science onwards, to test the limits and shatter all confines of the time-space continuum. Someone whose voice is never, and can never be, taken into account.
In other words, it’s hard to be a time machine.
But the coolest - and, at this point in time, the only - DeLorean in the world can overcome any problem! After all, she has her brilliant creator… and his friend. Yeah, him too.

Summary
Time machines are supposed to travel in time. Simple logic.
They are not, however, supposed to sit behind a billboard, on the wet grass, and contemplate their fate, their past and future that have intertwined together, the death of their beloved creator and the actions of said creator’s very teenage friend.
Oh, and they also aren’t supposed to have humanoid projections of their consciousness that look like young girls, but at this point that can be ignored.

But if a thing that wasn’t intended to acquire a mind acquires it anyway, where should this thing store it? The answer is obvious - outside its body.Such is the explanation for the phenomenon of “projections of self”.
And it so happened that the first time machine in history has acquired a mind of her own.
