Summary
For a while, this is as close as they get to any sort of argument: Zoro growling at him like a rabid dog, deadlocked into a staring contest that Mihawk, for the first time, might actually lose.
Perona finally breaks the silence. "Urgh! I've had it with you--emotionally constipated sword freaks!" she fumes with a petulant stomp of her cherry boots. "Fine! If you two won’t talk about it, then I’ll do it for you!" She extends her hands. "Negative Hollow!"
Twin translucent specters erupt from her palms. Mihawk effortlessly swats away the pest -- but Zoro, only halfway to his mastery of haki and ambushed from his freshly-carved blind spot, is not quite so fortunate.
Zoro crumples to his hands and knees. “I don't deserve to have you as my father.”
Perona gasps. Zoro petrifies, and Mihawk thinks, distantly, that this is what it would feel like to take a sword to the chest.
“As your what?”

It takes hurting both of the children living with Mihawk to make him realize that they're his.

I love crying. After Egghead this made me realize Kuma gave Zoro to Mihawk because he wanted Mihawk to have a child to love that saves him the way he had Bonney. God dammit I’m crying in the airport

“Ah-” He laughs, helplessly, “No, uh. I don’t have anything at all. I can only feel on my face or in my internal circuitry to sense damage, so any extra parts were sorta unnecessary.”“No, no. I’m… interested, I think. I just don’t know how interested I can get, if you catch my meaning.”
“We could find out.”"Sure. Reckon it can't hurt."
“I feel it.”
“Good. Let yourself feel it.”
“Can’t believe it,” he whispers, “Can’t believe you. Heaven.”Boothill doesn't have any sexual parts, for he doesnt have the ability to feel on most of his body, but naturally, Argenti finds a way.

Argenti didn’t say anything for what was in reality three seconds, but felt to Boothill like at least three minutes. “My sincere apologies.”
“No—I just meant—” Boothill cut off into a frustrated noise and then shoved his thigh firmly against Argenti, who sucked in a startled gasp of air. “You can. If you need to. Or want.”

“I—” Jimnez starts, then tries, “It—it’s just a story.”
“Stories are never just stories on the Grand Line,” Haruta says, and takes a step back to stop scaring the poor man silly.
“Especially stories about magic gems,” Ace agrees, and settles himself onto the deck in a tailor seat with the other crewmen who’d been listening to scary stories. “Magic gems are everywhere. You wouldn’t believe how many there are, ugh.”
“Know a lot about magic gems?” Haruta asks, slithering out of the shadows next to Ace and flopping sideways across his lap.
“You’d be surprised,” Ace says, and they both turn intent eyes back to Crewman Jimnez, who clearly cannot handle two Commanders casually joining story time.
