Summary
DEMA has seven exits, or so everyone in DEMA thought. Clancy struggles with some dark thoughts and doesn't know where they come from. Clancy wouldn't be Clancy if he didn't want to figure it out, and while he tries to understand what's happened, he finds a hidden eighth door which brings him right to where the story began (or better said: to who it began with).

it's like a little reward to be honest: coming home from a shitty day both at class and his awful job, just to find a piece of paper on his floor with words that, if they were to come out of someone's mouth, josh would get on one knee without thinking twice.
god, this past month he found like what, a letter almost every day? the person leaving them sure isn't scared of josh finding out who they are.

Summary
Tyler met Josh when he was twelve and Josh was thirteen. The bandito had pulled Tyler out of the water after he’d fallen from Dema’s walls. They fell in love over the years, and Josh tried to get Tyler out, almost succeeding and paying for it with his life.
Seven years after Josh’s death, years filled with torture, Tyler is being greeted by a figure he believes only he can see. The figure exudes a level of control over him, but unlike Nico’s control, it’s warm. For the first time in nearly a decade, Tyler wants out of Dema.
But, the figure is not all that they seem, terrifying the bishops who disrupt the natural progression of death. Trench is a force to be reckoned with, and things will never be the same again.
