Summary
The well-known estate that stood for hundreds of years, healed hundreds and thousands of patients. It housed a lot of people and well-known nurses with skills that spanned decades. That is the Butterfly Estate. But when she met a man with pale green eyes donned in a Gakuran Jacket and Hakama pants amongst the haunting walls of the estate, she thought that it might be more than a hospital before.
She would never have thought to wake up in front of a Fiery haired man and a mangled demon in the Taishō Period of Japan.

Summary
“Papa,” he called softly. His father hummed in response.
“What is Mom like?” he asked.
The man paused mid-motion, turning to glance at his son with gentle eyes. “Your mother... she was the strongest woman I’ve ever met.”
Takashi, intrigued, sat up and grabbed the long white sleeves of his father’s robe. Now that he thought of it, he’d never seen his father without those sleeves. Wisteria flowers were embroidered along the cuffs, beautifully delicate. Whenever he saw a wisteria tree, it reminded him of his father—and he felt safe.
“Tell me more! What do you mean by strong? Could she see them too? Did she fight them off so they wouldn’t bother her?” Takashi’s eyes sparkled.
The man laughed in amusement. “In a sense, yes,” he replied. Takashi gasped in awe. “But I wasn’t just talking about that,” his father added, trailing off.
“How did you meet her? Where did you meet?” Takashi persisted.
His father scooped the boy up, twirled him through the air, and laughed as Takashi shrieked with joy. He kissed his son’s forehead and gently laid him back onto his purple woolen quilt, pulling the blankets up and tucking him in neatly.
“That… is a story for another day.”

Summary
一期一会 “Ichi-go, Ichi-e.” One time, One meeting. A Japanese proverb that Hoshina remembered writing for years, during his calligraphy lessons.
He knew there is no use in dwelling over the girl he met one time, by chance, during a Kaiju attack. He doesn’t even know if she lived during the encounter. All he remembers was the tight, warm grip she has on his hand as they hide away from a Yoju.
“Don’t worry! I will protect you! So, what if I’m crying?! They said “Those who cry are brave.” so stop making fun of me!”
He wasn’t. He hoped she knew He wasn’t. He decided he would apologize later. That he is sorry he wasn’t able to protect her from the Kaiju. That her forearm was cut open from its claws. He hoped he was hurt instead of her. At least, he knew how to stop the bleeding.

Tanjiro would always see the same man on his trip down to the village to sell coal. His wild, fiery yellow hair swayed in the wind as he brightly conversed with the villagers. They would never talk but the man would steal occasional glances over his direction and smiles softly.

"I'll take you to the butterfly estate, Iguro-san. So they can patch you up," he says instead, carefully carrying the serpent hashira on his back. Kaburamaru is grateful actually because he moves from Iguro to Tanjirou's shoulders before nuzzling against his cheek.
"I can do it myself." Iguro protests again, but he doesn't even make an attempt to move.
"I know," Tanjirou agrees. "But you broke your leg saving my life, so I feel like I owe you this. It's the least I can do."
Tanjirou can't see the Pillar's face, but he can tell he's quite flustered because of his scent.

Summary
Rengoku is good at training, even though Zenitsu considers the routine a little bit too hard for his liking, but he can't deny it has made him improve in the last couple of weeks.
However, that's not the problem. The problem is that the flame hashira is completely in love with his best friend Tanjirou and it's so obvious everyone knows but the redhead himself.
He doesn't even try to be subtle about it; Inosuke doesn't really care, but Zenitsu is certainly getting tired of watching a Pillar constantly making heart eyes at his friend.

Summary
Now they all know one of Ubuyashiki's priorities is to keep the slayers, especially the Pillars, very happy since they're the ones risking their lives every day for everyone.
That's why sometimes, he makes matches or tries to, between one of them and his Pillars, although so far his plan hasn't worked quite well. The hashira, except one, remain very much single to this day.
The Kamado family doesn't get surprised when Ubuyashiki's crow arrives; he explains they have been selected to try this new idea the leader of the Corps has in mind, if they want to.
Tanjirou immediately volunteers; he's eighteen now and is very grateful for everything the Pillars do for everyone (even though he hasn't met any of them yet) and he wouldn't mind getting married to one of them if the matchmaking works.
