He’d faced down many foes with elemental powers before; Celestia granting this one a Cryo Vision was not such a big event that would make him hesitate to strike down the man in front of him. What made him pause, however is that from the light of the Archons’ blessing, he could see the tears staining the other’s face.
Kaeya was…crying.
Before he could register what was happening, he was running to him, to Kaeya. Running to his brother, a single thought swirling in his mind.

Summary
There are things that people take for granted without realizing. Hypothetically, it’s obvious that one would think to be grateful for what they have on occasion. For example, reading a sad story, hearing about an unfortunate accident— these are things that remind people to hold tighter to their loved ones in their hearts. Only briefly, of course. Then things go back to normal, and it’s only natural for one to be oblivious once again.
It is only when things happen— horrible, unexpected and unfortunate things— that one realizes just what they had been blind to. They’ll end up looking at the rest of the world in loathing and bitter disbelief, wondering how everyone can walk around in ignorance of what they have.
The most hatred they’ll hold will be towards their past self though. They’ll curse themselves until the day they die.
Or at least, that’s how Diluc felt when Kaeya killed himself.

Jiang Cheng snapped the book closed. He gripped the spine until his knuckles whitened. He stared back at the bookshelf that was filled end to end. He had to wonder if every single one of those contained similar talismans. He had to wonder if he was staring at the last years of his brother’s life all contained as snapshots within those very books. The thought was dizzying.
There was too much horror trapped within the pages of those diaries for Jiang Cheng to comprehend.

Summary
There's this tumblr post about what would have happened if Jin Zixun poisoned that wine he gave to the twin Jades. Or planned to. He was /planning/ to have a little fun with them and make them appear a little drunk by the poison to draw on their golden cores. What he did not know is that Wei Wuxian would step in and -because he has no core- just collapse immediately in the middle of the banquet.
This is about as well-received as expected.
