Summary
Lloyd’s life was terrible. That was putting it mildly. To say that he was hated by everyone in Ninjago City was an understatement. To say that he had no friends was…well…the most true thing you could say about him. To sum it all up, he had a lot he felt he could complain about. Like he was going to do that, though. But that wasn’t important right now. What was important was that his dad was attacking the city.
Or the movie origin story starring green cousins, an eventual identity reveal, and everyone hating Lloyd.

He sighed as he pulled one knee up. He rested his arms over it, then his chin on top of that. He stared down at the courtyard without looking at anything in particular. His mind was too full of thoughts of-
“Hey, Cole,” a small voice said next to him.
Cole gasped, forcing himself not to look over. It wasn’t him. It couldn't be him, because he hadn’t talked to Cole that nicely in a long time.
If he didn’t look over, he could pretend this was real.

Summary
Separated as friends, united as enemies.
When rendered alone and defenceless, orphaned Kai and Nya have only one another to lean on. Kai promises to never let any misfortune befall his sister but his words are proven false when he is unable to save her from a group of kidnappers. The guilt of losing Nya to the cruel world gnaws at him through the years and he is unable to forgive himself. When he trains as a ninja and faces many foes alongside his newfound family in arms, he slowly loses hope of ever finding her again.
However, when Master Chen, the face of the most famous noodle house chain, is becoming known as a threat to Ninjago, Kai and his team travel to his island to stop him. Along with a faction of other Elemental Masters, the team is swept up in a surprise tournament. But there is something about these two sisters that doesn't sit right. Especially when one of them is remarkably familiar.

“What’s wrong?” Nya asked, noticing the hidden worry on her brother’s face. Kai shook his head. “Nothing.”
“Liar.” Nya said, hands on her hips. She moved in front of him, blocking him from going any further. “I’m making sure we don’t go anywhere until you tell me what’s wrong.”
Again, Kai noticed the same guy from the corner of his eye, and he leaned down to Nya’s height and whispered, “I think someone’s following us.”
Nya’s eyes widened, but other than that, she showed no sign of fear or worry. She simply nodded, took Kai’s hand, and continued down the street, skipping along like she was still unaware of the situation.
As the two headed into the wood–like area that was the fastest route to home, Kai practically felt someone breathing down his neck. He squeezed Nya’s hand tighter, fear coursing through his body, but he didn’t let it show.
“Nya,” he whispered. “When I let go of your hand, I want you to run, okay?”
Nya didn’t respond, but simply squeezed his hand tighter in affirmation, and Kai felt a presence—the presence, creeping closer.
He let go of Nya’s hand.

Summary
When Cole saw the state that Nadakhan and his crew had left Jay in, he couldn't stop himself from blurting out a wish to heal his friend. Of course... Nadakhan, being Nadakhan, had twisted Cole's words to the point where the entire past of the ninja is rewritten.
Jay's missing, the Bounty has no technological advancements, Cole's no longer a ghost- just what did Nadakhan do to the ninja? Guess we can only wait and see.
