Summary
Late one evening, on his way to 12 Grimmauld Place, Sirius Black intervenes in someone else's cruelty and saves a black cat maimed by the Cruciatus Curse. He doesn't like cats and has no interest in forming attachments to questionable stray creatures - yet, for reasons he can't quite explain, he keeps her.
