Summary
Pleng is just trying to survive alone in the city. Between her classes and her internship, she has no time to think about anything else, let alone a relationship. So when she literally stumbles into the arms of one of the city’s most notorious mobsters, the last thing she expected was to find butterflies nesting in her stomach. But if there’s one thing more deadly than Wan’s hands, it’s her sparkling smile that only seems to appear for Pleng.
Wan has sworn off love. That’s just not a realistic goal for someone with her lifestyle. But the universe has a sick sense of humor, and someone from her past that she never thought she’d see again is standing right in front of her. In the middle of a street fight, no less. Pleng might not remember Wan, but Wan could never forget those expressive eyes and that angelic face. The question is whether Wan can resist temptation to keep Pleng away from her violent life, or if, in the end, it’s all just a fool’s errand.
