Summary
"What are you doing with my hoodie?"
Nicholas's tone of voice, the raw emotion underlying at every word spoken, had Kei blinking at the emotional omega in surprise, his usual fragrant scent wavering as he was met with a spicy wall of cinnamon and cardamom. Huffing in amusement, further feeding the irate kitten in front of him, the older omega stepped forward, leaning in towards the eye-watering spicy curtain that Nicholas seemed to have enclosed himself in all by himself in the laundry room.
"I seem to recall that you were the one that left 'your' hoodie in my apartment Nicholas"
Kei couldn't help but taunting the other omega, feeling the spice of cardamon in the back of his throat as Nicholas turned a deeper shade of red at the taunt. The words weren't anywhere near being out of place, or taunting, under normal circumstances but in his hormone addled mind it might have been a near threat to the other.

Alternatively, the one in which Nichol is irrational while in pre-heat and Kei soothes some ruffled feathers.

Summary
“Couldn't even leave your number?” His voice is thick with sleep, still scratchy from disuse.
Nicholas laughs gently, an effort to lighten the mood after being caught red-handed. He always tells himself to leave without fanfare, to not look back when he does. Looking back only makes you want to stay.
In spite of his own strict rules, he looks back anyway, seeing how Fuma blinks up at him with half-open lids, a lazy smile on his face.
“Maybe next time,” he says. “If we run into each other again.” An easy letdown. He wasn't planning on that.
Fuma hums, seeing through him. “Sure,” he says. “Next time.”
Nicholas spends the night with Fuma in college, not intending for it to go any further. What happens instead is a series of missed connections and misaligned opportunities over the years that keeps Fuma coming back into his life. Sometimes the timing isn't right. Sometimes one of them leaves. But what happens when Nicholas starts feeling like he wants to stay?

Euijoo froze at the sight. His heartbeat was so loud in his ears he couldn't even hear the words spoken to him. With shaky hands and even shakier knees, he turned around and exited the room, exited the dorm, exited the building and even then he had yet to stop walking. He didn't even need to close his eyes for the picture to stay painted, imprinted in his mind, stark and oversaturated.
Nicholas, flushed red, sat on the ground, his back supported by the foot of the bed. His shirt was raised above his chest, scrunched up under his neck, held in place under his chin. His lips, red and sticky, whispering softly in his mother tongue, shushing and appeasing in between each breath. His arms, encircling, protecting, fingers carding through short blond hair, digits probing gently, gentler than they've ever been with him.
(or: Euijoo walks in on Nicholas nursing Maki. It does more to him than he thought it would)
