Arlong appears increasingly distracted by the fact that Buggy’s dressed down compared to usual. His eyes keep straying, lingering over his bared shoulders and the sheen of sweat on his neck like he doesn’t mind now if Buggy catches him looking. Buggy gives him a slow, insinuating smile and looks right back.
Setting down his drink, Arlong clicks his tongue at the barman to catch his attention and draw him over to their table again.
“Get us a room upstairs. We have private business to discuss.”

Summary
It’s un-fucking-precedented. It’s how this works and always has done, from the very beginning: they hook up to make money or share intel and they fuck about it, one way or another, beforehand or afterward or both. Looks like somebody’s having feelings over their last interaction, with the unexpected mouth-on-mouth action and the bed sharing and the fuck-you-twice-more-come-dawn.
No matter. If Arlong wants to play hard to get, Buggy can play hard to resist. He’d bet all the beri he’s got that with the tiniest hint of persuasion, his fishy fuckbuddy’s gonna fold faster than a topsail in a tornado.
“Aw, c’mon,” Buggy says smoothly, leaning back on his hands and giving Arlong a blatant once-over. “You’re a busy guy, I get it. I won’t tease. I’m already here, aren’t I? You might as well — take advantage, right?”
