Summary
Out of everyone in the Decay of Angels organization, all of them had called in sick once or twice.
Sigma after taking care of the sky casino calls in after a stressful week, Bram had somehow gotten a cold or food poisoning from modern day foods, Fukuchi has gotten injured on past missions, and Fyodor with his chronic anemia.
Everyone has called in sick. Except for Nikolai.
So everyone is a bit surprised when Nikolai is not present for their monthly meeting. They expect Nikolai's first sick day to last only a day.
But three days!?

Fyodor squints in confusion. “What happened? You didn’t run away with me.”
Nikolai gives him a soft, genuine smile. “I know! I did that on purpose.” He said cheerfully.
Fyodor frowns, “What? Did someone hold you back? What- What do you mean, on purpose?"
Nikolai sighs, stretching out his legs in front of himself. He winces slightly, imperceptibly. “I wanted to see if you’d come find me. You did, surprisingly."
Or: Fyodor and Nikolai get caught in a snowstorm. After boarding a train back to Yokohama, Fyodor realizes Nikolai's been hurt. He spirals since its a wrench in his usually flawless plans, and then comforts Nikolai.
