Cale wasn't the best son, nor the best noble. Or the best person. He's not the best at anything other than making trouble. He really doesn't care if you hate him, everyone does. You're not special.
He knew that, understood it. But he didn't think his father would go this far just to punish him, or get rid of him even. Cale's feet burned and his lungs hurt from breathing in the cold air. He gasped, only to feel even more pain.
Chains around his limbs and neck tight, the facility with poor ventilation, letting all the winter air in. He could hear the sound of claws on metal and bodies bumping into the walls.
