    Peter's been on his own for a long time. After his aunt and uncle died, and before that his parents, he refused to go into the system.

    So, he ran.

    When he realized he had become completely and utterly orphaned for the rest of his life, there wasn't much he could do about it. He didn't know of anybody who had superpowers to bring people back from the dead.

    All he had was Spider-Man. Well, Spider-Man and the nice man who would bring him food every day. He'd been a little hesitant to accept at first, but then he'd realized that the man had been none other than Tony Stark, and so he started to feel a sort of obligation to accept whatever Mister Stark would bring him that day. And Mister Stark came every day.

    But Tony keeps trying to get Peter to sign the Accords, to officially become an Avenger, while Peter is at his most vulnerable.
    And when Peter says no…Tony does it anyway.
    It goes as badly as you expect it to.
