“You.” Mike hissed, his voice cracked through the silence like lightning, the beam of light quickly turned, and Mike supressed the urge to flinch away from the sudden brightness. The man slowly twisted to look at Mike, surprise flashed across his face so fast that Mike would have missed it if he wasn’t intently watching every move that the taller man made, he quickly schooled his expression and his face split into an all too familiar grin,“Well, hello Mike.”

“All hail Percy Jackson!” He began, dropping dramatically to his knees in front of Percy and bowing, Percy could feel a laugh bubbling in his chest despite himself, “supreme lord of the bathroom!” Luke continued, still laughing as he lifted his head to look at Percy. They held each other’s eyes for a brief moment and then Luke suddenly swarmed into his vision, before Percy could fully process what was happening, Luke had grabbed Percy’s face in his hands and pulled him into a kiss.

Zeke doesn’t respond, he grabs a glove from his desk and opens the box carefully, trying to hold in a gag when he sees the contents, “is that a fucking heart?” O’Brien asks incredulous, failing to hold in the gag. Sat nestled amongst white tissues inside the box is a heart, the stench of iron clear in the air and based on the size Zeke assumes it’s probably human.

When his eyes finally adjust to the new light he sees it, a small note left in the centre of the coffee table. The slightly yellowish paper sits ominously, he can just about make out the small line of text in the centre of the page,“You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.” Zeke moves to the table with little hesitation, any fear he had about the situation quickly replaced by residual anger, he snatches the note up and reads the familiar looking text,

“You should be careful,” Castiel warns, tugging Dean closer, a hand on his waist and moving along his belt. Dean has a small suspicion of what he must be looking for, what he must’ve already seen, a silver glint from the faint artificial light streaming through the crack of the ajar door, “Guns are dangerous.”
“I bet you’d know,” Dean quips back, throwing himself further into Castiel’s arms, wrapping his hands underneath his trench coat, and around his lower back. “You have one on you now, don’t you?” His voice was a low husk, the tension in the air thickening, but neither seemed to mind. If Castiel could search his belt for his gun, there was nothing stopping Dean from returning the favor.
OR: Dean's convinced Castiel's the assassin sent to murder his brother, Sam. In a bout of protectiveness, Dean vows to be Sam's bodyguard, except, he has no idea what he's doing.
