Summary
Carlos is tempted to stop outside Tommy’s front door and pull TK into his arms. He’s tempted to never let go, not now, not in ten minutes, not in an hour, not in a week or even a year, but TK moves past him to the passenger door of his car before he can.
Instead, he follows into the driver’s seat.
He’s tempted to pull TK over the center console of the car and kiss him in the way he wants to. He’s tempted to let that do the talking instead, to say the words he’s both sure and not that he won’t say. He’s tempted to tug TK by his jacket, to kiss him on the side of rough with everything he’s got and make TK vow to never do something like that again.
It wasn’t TK’s fault. He didn’t create a giant cloud of poisonous gas.
