    Jaskier knew something changed him that day on the mountain, he just didn't know what. Now that Jaskier is traveling with Eskel, he tries to figure it out with the Witcher and they eventually make it to Kaer Morhen where Jaskier and Geralt have to figure out how to live with each other for the winter.

    Jaskier also is struggling with controlling his new found magic too and with Geralt being around, it's hard for him to focus on it.

    Geralt never really thought much about why he did it. His hands had a life of their own sometimes, and after slaying a monster and writing as many specifics he thought could be useful in his journal, he drew it. Sometimes he drew the whole monster, other times he captured just some details, like claws, teeth, wings, a spiked tail...but he didn’t stop at drawing monsters for long.
