Acer meant maple, which symbolized where their mother and father first met, under a maple tree. Aiyani meant eternal flower. Aiyani saw no heartfelt meaning behind this, other than her parents hoped by the name she would live a long and prosperous life. Aiyani didn't care how long she lived, just that she lived a life of beauty and adventure. That was her sole purpose, that's what she felt she was meant for, adventure.
