Summary
Tim came a little closer, kneeling in front of him.
“Dames?”
Tim tilted Damian’s head up a little, finding streaks of tears running down his face.
He gathered his baby brother into his arms, careful to keep Red Hood’s jacket around him. Damian did nothing for a moment but then all at once he was burying his head into Tim’s neck, clutching onto his sweater as if it were the only thing keeping him grounded.
“I’ve got you,” Tim murmured, holding him close. “It’s okay now, we’re going home.”
Damian only trembled harder, making a wounded sound that Tim had never wanted to have to hear, never wanted Damian to ever make again.
Tim hushed him, pecking the top of his head.
It was a testament of how scared Damian was, the fact that he did not pull away from the contact, only clutching onto Tim more tightly, giving off a wrenching sob.
“Shh, it’s okay Little D, shh…”

Summary
Damian has been getting bullied by his classmates for a while now. When he finally reaches a breaking point, the boy tells Dick what happened, and his older brother gets mad. He can't believe Damian, the boy he loves so much, the boy he helped raising, is going through the exact same thing he had to endure years ago, in the same school. You'd think the problem would be solved by now.
"He rubbed away some tears forming in his eyes. Of course Dick would still be sleeping, he was on patrol until the sun had risen. Slowly, he creaked open his brother’s bedroom door.
“Are you awake?” He whispered.
“Hm...” Dick murmured “Dami?” He lifted his face from the pillow to look at the boy. Damian’s eyes landed on a noticeable bruise on his cheekbone “What’s wrong?” He slowly sat up, noticing the look on his baby brother’s face."Series

First, no, he did not mind cats at all. That led him to his second thought: was Damian reaching out because he wanted a cat, or because he already had one?

Summary
Red Hood’s modulated voice is bone-chilling. Nearly every sleaze-bag in Crime Alley had become accustomed to the gravely robotic nature of it. The unnatural shifts in his words and the variations in pitch being just ever so slightly off putting. Borderline uncanny, yet everyone who’s heard it knows there’s a human behind that voice. A man who choses to blow a hole through someone’s skull without so much of an afterthought.
Though, no one had ever heard that voice scream.
Not until tonight.
Or, Red Hood is captured, Nightwing saves him and while helping him afterwards, puts the wrong puzzle pieces together and confronts him which does not go quite how he planned.

“Where’s your bike?” Jason interrupted. “We can head back to the cave together.”
Well, that was…confusing, among other things. Dick just managed to stop himself from blurting out any of his surprise - at the fact Jason was going back to the cave at all and at the fact he wanted to go together - and say instead, “Sorry, no can do. I’ve got a few other things lined up for tonight.”
Or: When an injured Dick refuses to go back to the cave, Jason takes matters into his own hands. They have more arguments than breakthroughs, but it's a start.
