   (Also I rewrote the first two chapters. The first one is largely the same but the second one is definitely different).
   Katie Maxwell is a young author who found success early in her life thanks to her bestselling character Elizabeth Element. After she settled into her job at Keller University outside DC, she thinks she has everything she ever wanted, friends, success, money, and a bright future. At least she thought she did until she ran into Cal Lightman at a school function. While they hit it off almost immediately, Katie quickly finds out that a relationship with Cal is harder than she expected as she finds herself trying to fit herself into his busy life of being a father and dedicated business owner. Will Katie figure out how to get Cal to open his life and heart in order to fall in love again? Or will his abrasive nature push Katie away?
