Summary
Steve Harrington was dealing with being bitten by a demodog.
But this, he couldn’t wrap his damn head around.
He’d caught himself…staring…several times. At a long, lithe line of a body in dark clothes and leather, with tattoos scattered on pale skin. A bandana tucked in his back pocket just enough that it swung without falling—that when it swung, Steve noticed. Or when long fingers bedecked in silver rings twirled strands among a mess of wild, dark curls.
Steve knew when he walked in the room. His scent, this mix of mossy forest and rain and smoke, traveled across the room. Steve’s chest hurt—ached enough he had to press a hand against his sternum. Steve hardly knew this guy. The one invading his senses, burrowing in under muscle and bone.
Steve knew the twisting in his stomach, the catching in his breath, in his fucking heart. Recognized it with a dreading familiarity.
He…wanted.
