So, here she was, letting Jotaro fall asleep first so she could climb in bed later and avoid sparking another petty argument. All she wanted was a hug, really, and for him to tell her that the stress she was feeling would pass.

Summary
She tends to him with far more care than she probably needs to, but she can’t help but act gently with Jotaro. She rubs ointment on his knuckles and wraps his hand tightly and carefully. She avoids the purple splotches on his hand as much as possible, when she sees how he winces.
“I won’t break,” Jotaro says. “You don’t have to- take so much care with me.” He trails off, looking out the window into the school courtyard. The trees are just beginning to bloom with the season’s first cherry blossoms.
“I want to take care of you,” she murmurs, earnestly.
