Zaara spent a good deal of her evening reading about sleeping princesses and Bucky, first and foremost, reminds her of a disheveled fairytale prince with his long brown hair and dark stubble peppering his chiseled jaw. His is a rare sort of masculine beauty, frozen in time. She smiles and imagines what it would be like to kiss those bluish lips, wondering if he would wake up slowly, eyelashes fluttering, to smile back at her.
But she gasps and turns away, burying her face in the crook of Steve’s neck. He looks down, startled by the way her silken tresses tickle his jaw, the unexpected weight of her body making him tremble. “Zaara?” He’s worried about her, scared for Bucky, and thrilled to feel her body pressing up against his own. He’s never comforted a woman this way before, using his body. It feels so natural and incredibly satisfying.
