But then, in a fit of madness coupled with an existential crisis, he leaves everything behind, travels across the galaxy, and moves to Okhema, a city in Amphoreus seemingly dipped in the past.
His half-remembered dreams lead him to a library cafe, where he meets a beautiful blonde man who looks like he holds all the answers.

As expected, the procedure is long, and arduous. You have to take it piece by piece, replacing every limb one at a time.
First, you take measurements. For this operation to succeed, you need to know every length of his skin down to the millimetre. This takes over four hours.
Then, you begin to tinker with the mechanical parts, cutting them down to size, making sure they will fit where their organic counterparts were removed and that they will bend at the right angles when he moves, and that they will not break or loosen in the years he is to use them for.
This happens, of course, all before you begin planning how to actually implement them in the operation.
(Or, in which a broken man comes to your clinic to be put back together again. You do your best.)

Everyone always jokes about the paranormal. They like to Quote cheesy horror movies, and mess with Ouija Boards. But nobody really talks about ghosts all that much. They may talk about that paranormal experience they had once, sure. But it is always relatively tame; something like a shadow in the corner of a room, vaguely humanoid, there for a moment before disappearing. This is because the spirit world doesn’t usually plague the lives of the living. Except when it does.
TL;DR A ghost au where Nagisa can see ghosts and Karma becomes one. Chaos ensues.
