Killua: The combination of being hopelessly in love, not being able to forget the guy and move on despite being heartlessly rejected, and not hearing anything about him for two years culminated in one gloriously horrid feeling—hatred.
Gon: In the bathroom, Gon splashed his face with water. He needed to take a second to think. Whatever he did, Gon knew that he couldn’t mess this up. No hasty impulsive actions. He wasn’t the same Gon as he was six years ago, and he would show that to Killua.

Summary
Even worse, without nen, how could Gon fight alongside the strongest Hunters? What would he be worth? Wouldn’t Ging just be proving Bopo right, that Gon couldn’t live up to Ging, by telling him to be grateful with being normal…? Was it true? Did he say those things because he doesn’t actually care about Gon?
What was there left for him, without nen?
Gon returns home after meeting his goal of finding Ging. With no new goal and nothing to distract him, Gon is left to face himself and the traumas he has been through. (tiny bit of Killugon towards the end)
