    Summary

Mr. Zhongli is incredibly intelligent, the man would go on and on about random topics, most of the time brought on by the book of the week they would choose to discuss and he would always display absolute dominion over the matter he would be talking about.

Mr. Zhongli is deeply religious, it seemed, having never heard his mother say she hadn't seen him at Sunday mass, his entire attention on what the priest would decide to preach and sometimes even taking notes."

Mr. Zhongli, despite being seemingly filthy rich, is also the sole consultant of a rather small and humble funeral parlor in the big city.

Mr. Zhongli is a widower and despite being surrounded by desperate fellow widows, divorced ladies and neglected housewives of his age, his mother has never said anything about him making a move on any of them and it was more often that he heard him being spoken about as if one of their own. A perfect gentleman just looking for a peaceful afternoon discussing sappy historical romance novels with middle aged women.

From all this and more, Mr. Zhongli, Childe deduced, is...
...the worst case scenario. A boring old geezer.

    Summary

Zhongli, meanwhile, sits back in his chair, flabbergasted. “You mean to tell me in your twenty-odd years of life—” Childe corrects his age, clearly proud of his relative youth. “—you have never taken a lover?” He uses this turn of phrase deliberately, and it has the desired effect.

Childe’s face flames. “That’s—that’s not—” He clears his throat and lowers his voice. “We were talking about dating.”

“So you have done neither,” Zhongli says slowly.

Childe has always been too dedicated to the Tsaritsa to find time for intimacy. Zhongli changes that.

    Summary

“Ajax,” Oh. With one word, Childe knows it's serious. “You do not understand the longing I have felt. Call me spoiled if you will, but having your presence in Liyue was something of great comfort and pleasure for me. I hope I do not burden you by selfishly feeding my desire to see you again.”

Selfish? Childe wants to laugh, but instead, he chokes.

“I understand that this is sudden, and that I may overstay my welcome. But, there are a few things I’d like to discuss before I leave. Ah,” Zhongli says in pause, as if stumbling upon a great realization. He looks out the window, fogged from the inside and beginning to ice over. “I had not considered the ports would be closed due to the storm.”

A chat? That's all he wanted. Thousands of miles just to see him.

What Childe says next is without thought, running on pure instinct, “You’re staying the night.”

This one and the next. A whole week. However long it takes.

OR, Zhongli finds Childe once again amidst a blizzard.

    Summary

“Why are you looking at me like that?” He whispered.

“I’m not looking at you like anything,” Kuroo replied, because Tsukishima was only fifteen, and he was already the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen in his entire life. But he was only fifteen, and there was still so much he didn’t know about love and lust and life, and Kuroo wouldn’t spoil this for him.

Or, the five times Kuroo let Tsukishima walk away (and the one time he didn’t).
