Summary
In a desolate, war-torn country, a young and mortal Zhongli has aspirations of unifying the land under a peaceful and prosperous rule. Meanwhile, a seemingly naive and whimsical boy has taken an interest in Zhongli, offering him a place in his home, the timeless paradise of Tír na nÓg. Not willing to give up on his ambitions, Zhongli rejects the offer, leaving Venti to watch and loiter around the mortal world until Zhongli either agrees to his proposal or succumbs to a mortal's fate.

Venti cannot run away from his heart forever, nor can Zhongli cease the constant nagging thoughts plaguing him day in and day out. Two ancient souls draw closer together once more and try not to crash and burn again.

1. Themes of depression and anxiety.2. Slow-ish burn, but not too slow!
