"I don't... I don't understand," Will whispered, shaking his head in disbelief. This was a level of delusion he couldn't have predicted. "You think... you think the way to make up for cheating on your girlfriend with me is to cheat on your girlfriend with me again?"
-
"It's not cheating if we don't kiss!" Mike shot back, his own frustration boiling over. "I told you that! It's just... it's just messing around. It's what guys do sometimes. It doesn't mean anything."
Will stared at him, his anger momentarily deflated by the sheer absurdity of Mike's logic. "What guys do? What guys are you talking about? Do you and Lucas mess around? Do you and Dustin?"
Cheating Mike. That’s all :)

Summary
With the memorial ceremony for the anniversary of Joyce's death coming up, Mike would be seeing Will in person again, and he would be a liar if he said he wasn't a little nervous. Would Will even want to speak with him? What if he were dating someone else? What if he didn't show up at all?
He didn't want to think about that. He had no reason to worry so much about Will; he had Jane, and Jane was great. Jane had been there for the last five years when Will barely was. Though there was still the thought gnawing at the back of his brain that things would be different once he saw Will in person again.
OR
Will Byers remembers why he doesn't go back to Hawkins anymore when Mike Wheeler, the only person he's ever loved, announces that he's engaged to his stepsister, Jane Hopper. How is he going to survive planning a wedding he actively wants to prevent from happening?

Summary
“I told you, you shouldn't have insisted on rooming with Will freshman year,” Lucas says down the phone. “You're staying in your comfort zone. You need to get out there, dude.”
“I'm not in my comfort zone,” Mike says, exasperated. “I've literally moved to the biggest city in the U.S.”
“All right then, tell me the last time you had dinner with anyone that wasn’t Will. Or hung out with anyone that wasn’t Will.”
Will and Mike go to college together in New York. Cue co-dependency, parties, spin the bottle and Mike Wheeler’s bisexual crisis.

Summary
“Mike-” Will was trying to talk, but he was gasping for air and seemed dangerously close to passing out. “Mike, you have to leave-”
“Look at the Wheeler boy, all grown up.” Lonnie’s words were slurred, almost incoherent. He grabbed Will by the collar and held him in a suffocating headlock. “Always coming to the fuckin rescue.”
“Get away from him.”
or: Lonnie comes back and Mike is almost too late.
