Him and Gem had been spending more time together after their crude introduction. Gem had started planning her castle, and it was set to be in his forest, so obviously he had to oversee it. Not that he had much better to do. Besides Gem, his forest was a comfortable, thriving place with no immediate problems. He had time to kill.
Which was why when Gem suggested he meet some of the other hermits, he agreed. Even though he suspected it was just to get the fae out of her hair. And the fact that hermits were selfish creatures who used his woods for themselves (a belief he held despite Gem’s constant compliments towards them). And maybe what Gem actually met by meeting the hermits was to go visit their base or something, but Tommy had better plans. He always had better plans.

Summary
Scar felt sick. lying in the cage with his wings bound, cold metal pressed against his skin, he’d admit he was pretty miserable.
He had one thing he could do against the watchers, feed off their emotions. He could become stronger if their feelings stayed as strong as they were when they first captured him. Possibly stronger than them. So he waited for the opportunity to escape.
