Estinien could sense that Aymeric was upset with him the same way animals could sense an impending earthquake. The other knight gave no outward indication of his mood as was proper for one of his adoptive breeding, but the tension between them was a cold spot on the back of Estinien's neck- notable as the summer was particularly hot and that heat hung in the air of the stables as if trapped within the miasma of old hay and chocobo shit.

Seeing the scowl on Estinien's face grow harsher, he holds up a hand. "I mean no offense, I find your craft honorable."
Estinien's laugh is sudden and harsh, "you know I'm here to take you out, right? What honor is there in killing a man that so obviously wants to die?"
It was just another job for Estinien Varlineau. As a member of the Order of the Knights Dragoon, a monster and undead culling organization, it's his job to rid the world of darkness. So, why is he letting a vampire travel with him?
