the Thai BL sector was more interested in the power of ship names than in series. Eighty percent of their lives were spent living with suppressors, and gender did not affect the actors' personalities. But for ships and names, alpha and omega forms were important. Side couples could work with omega-omega, alpha-omega, or beta genders in series, but it was not possible for the main couple.
One of them had to be more dominant, must be. No matter how ridiculous Pond thought it was, that was the job that earned him his money. He never cared about the omega-alpha relationship that people reduced them to.
