Victor and Novas used to be friends in elementary school before Victor and his "posse" and she called them started tormenting her childhood friend Ray. She's now named him public enemy number one. She decides to become a counselor at her old summer camp but, finds someone she's not too fond of had the same idea.

Nova has a vision of Victor. Victor has a vision of Nova. They've had these visions since they were both extremely little. Now, both of them 16-years-old, they both sneak out of their respective towns. Victor, wanting to see the sun before it's too late, leaves Shadyside. Nova, yearning to see the stars before she becomes the next commander, sneaks out of Sunnyside. They run into each other, and things... spiral from there.
