Merlin looked up, locking his gaze onto Arthur. He was staring at him with such profound hunger, he had to gulp. His eyes were practically black but Arthur could still see the love, the adoration, the lust.
It made him feel hot—desired.
His face had been long since stuck with a permanent blush, and he tucked his head back into the crook of his arm with a whine. It didn’t matter how many times they’d done this, that look… it made Arthur feel seen in a way he usually wasn’t.
Made him feel vulnerable.
