It was quiet, almost too quiet for a friday night, when something strange occurred in a dark alley. An ordinary bat started morphing, growing bigger and more slender while its wings became smaller by the second. In its place then stood a man with long unruly hair, a denim vest with patches and eyes full of panic.

Logan panted, “You’re an alpha.”

“You don’t know? You can’t tell?” Logan demanded, his hysteria thinly veiled.

“Yes?” Logan said, almost desperately.
“Cool. Cool. Cool. Okay. So, why don’t you tell me what you think that means? I’ve read way too much fan fiction to react accordingly to that.”
