Mozzie not really celebrating Christmas for a lot of Mozzie-esque reasons, but then Neal comes along and he's all idealistic and romantic and like having the tree and lights and the general atmosphere and Mozzie then getting into celebrating Christmas but just the Neal Caffery version. Mozzie ranting about stripping Christmas of its religious and capitalistic associations while making dairy-free sugar cookies while Neal paints whatever his next forgery is

Summary
As Neal and Peter are working a case, Neal gets tossed into a pool. Neither of them think it's a big deal at first, until Neal realizes his anklet has become lodged under a pipe. Neal is trapped, and Peter's too busy trying not to get shot to notice he hasn't come up yet. Neal just hopes he can hold his breath long enough for Peter to save him.
Originally written as a pinch-hitter fic for the White Collar Fandom Gift Exchange, but ended up not needing to be used :) for the prompt: Neal at the bottom of a pool. He can't come up.

He could only see the back of his head and over the side of it, but the sunlight trickling in still shone across the high point of his cheekbones. There was a thin dusting of freckles there, only a hint of what could be seen across Shane's face. Ilya almost wanted nothing more than to follow the freckles down his cheeks, to kiss each one, or stare at them for as long as he could.
