Two epistolary poems I wrote about Enjolras and Grantaire from Les Miserables. Could be read as an original poem with no connection to Les Mis, but the resemblance is too uncanny to ignore, and it was entirely written with them in mind.

“I meant it, you know?”
Beethoven rolled his eyes again and turned to face CB. Their noses were inches apart. Beethoven didn’t look into his eyes, but CB’s breath stuttered anyway. It was such an unfamiliar, pleasant feeling.
“You say a lot of things, CB, I have to assume you mean some of them.”
“You are so hostile,” but CB is smiling when he says it. Beethoven’s mouth twitches. “I mean about…. Going away.”
(Beethoven and CB go on a road trip and no one gets hurt)

Summary
The summer before the Losers Club's senior year, Richie receives an invite from his Aunt Karen in Hawkins to bring his friends to stay before they all graduate and go their separate ways.
What they're not expecting is for some interdimensional shenanigans to wake up something that was supposed to be asleep for a long, long time. And even less so for it to follow them to Hawkins.
At least they're not alone this time.

Summary
When it came to heroes and other vigilantes, Marc didn’t have any interest in interacting with them.
He travels with Khonshu’s will, continuing to protect those under the moon and following through with Khonshu’s severe judgments. He kills and keeps Khonshu content and fed, shielded under the darkness of night and the flickers of the moon.
(Or, Marc meets the Avengers. And then gets shot in the head.)
