Hi friends! So, I’ve been in a bit of a writing lull lately, and I wanted to work on a couple ideas just to get out of it. So naturally, a two-paragraph idea of mine stretched into a 5K fic…

“Oh don’t be daft,” I felt his arm grab onto my waist and pull me over towards the center of the bed; to his body. “You’ll get warmer quicker.”

Summary
It started out small. Jokes and kidding around, teasing. One day you flirted in an overly exaggerated manner with Loki and that was it. The deal was signed. You two began “flirting” obnoxiously to annoy the others.
One friend threatening to bend the other over a nearby surface often and loudly to the rolled eyes of your friends and coworkers. The banter was hilarious and it helped you to keep your attraction to Loki from boiling over.
There was only one line neither of you would cross. The jokes were never done when you two were alone. A “performance” necessitated an audience.
When the line gets unintentionally crossed you take the joke for truth.
But every joke has a kernel of truth in it, doesn’t it?
