Summary
Ever since their rescue, people have obsessed over the survivors of the Yellowjackets Tragedy. While they were missing, it was a tragic if forgettable news story and nothing more. But when eight of them returned (and no one else), suddenly, there were stories. Relationships, individuals, mysteries... Prime breeding ground for an RPF community to form.
For most, it's nothing more than a more-than-slightly inappropriate hobby. For the survivors? It's a coping mechanism. And a battlefield.

Misty frowns. There’s something…off with her tone of voice tonight. Something too steady in that expression. Determined. Set.

Summary
Ever since their fateful crash in 1996, the Yellowjackets tragedy has captured public fascination like nothing else before or since. As their disappearance and eventual recovery coincided with the growth of the modern internet, an online fandom has always existed, whether in the form of newsgroups, blogs, forums, subreddits, or hashtags. Compiling it all would be impossible, and much of it has been lost to time (particularly since the death of Geocities), but several cataloguing attempts have been made. This is one of them.

Summary
The front door opens and Natalie breathes in, waiting. But as the lights flicker on, she realizes Misty isn’t with a date, after all. Dressed in scrubs and balancing a work tote and a pink backpack in one hand, she holds a child in the other. The small girl settled on Misty’s hip doesn’t scream or cry at the sight of a stranger with a gun in her home - she just blinks at Natalie, wide-eyed and serious. Natalie lowers the rifle, hearing it clatter as it hits the floor.
