Summary
Even with earth shattering faith that she was right, Enid hesitated, "It feels… do you think we’ve done this before, Wednesday?"
Their eyes twinkled before turning cold and Enid felt her heart skip a beat. Her heart was attached to something that was destined to be hers, yet she wanted to pray to a God she didn’t believe in that it wasn’t true. It couldn't be.
They scoffed, "Deja Vu is nothing noteworthy."
"So then you saw it, too?"

Summary
Wednesday’s knee nudged Enid’s, slow. The hand on her thigh inched a fraction higher and stilled, asking without words. The question was a heat line up Enid’s spine.
Enid made a small sound and put her palm over Wednesday’s hand, not to move it away, just to feel it there.
“You’re doing that on purpose,” she whispered.
“Yes.”
“You like watching me fall apart, don't you?”
“Also yes.”
Enid’s cheeks went pink. She stared at their joined hands like they were a problem set she could solve if she wasn’t on fire.
“Can I… kiss you?” she asked, because asking had turned into a trick that always, always worked.
“You can,” Wednesday said, already leaning in.

Summary
“What is your last wish?” Wednesday asks impatiently. “Surely there must be some idiotic, impractical thing you want. You humans are so very predictable in that way.”

One wish left, anything in the world at her fingertips, and all she really wants is more time to spend with this enchanted, enchanting mystery of a girl.
