Virgil has done just fine without a soulmate--in fact, he's got issues with the whole concept in general. Then he meets his soulmate, immediately runs, and is left wondering whether he should go back and give the guy a second chance.
He shouldn't. Of course he shouldn't. He's better off ignoring the guy for the rest of eternity and getting on with his life.
