jongseong stares after him, empty hands falling aimlessly to his sides, and wonders how this night went so wrong. how they started in their beautiful meadow and ended up here in this dark, cold room with the most tension that’s ever existed between them hanging heavy and thick. how he somehow managed to misstep and say something that caused jungwon to not only rid himself of jongseong’s touch, but turn his face away from him too.

Summary
Perhaps getting rid of confession letters from Jungwon’s locker is a dick move from his part, but there was no way that Jay was going to let Jungwon be with somebody else that wasn’t him let alone allow anyone confess to Jungwon before he could.

Jungwon stares at him, at the window, and then at the grass. His eyes widen. “You don’t mean—jump? You can’t expect me to-!” He’s hardly able to finish his sentence as Jay spreads his arms, smiling up at him.
“I’ll catch you,” he says simply, and any arguments Jungwon may have had all die on his tongue.

Summary
The building is slowly lighting it’s warm flame through the cracked ruins.
Jungwon’s breath caught in his throat, “J-Jay??”.
So much so Jungwon didn’t even realised the small glass jar of tips he was holding had slipped from his fingers and fallen, it all happened so fast, the jar shattered on the tiled ground making all the coworkers snap to the source of the noise and embarrassingly the whole bakery of course.
Jay’s thoughtfulness and protectiveness must’ve never gone away because he was leaning to the counter and looking down worriedly over jay, as if he would jump over the counter the next second to help him, “hey- be careful with the glass won!” jay says
“Won” ? …i’m dreaming again, some one wake me up, Jungwon shivers
or, Jungwon and Jay were once high school sweethearts but went their own ways and loss contact after graduation, that is until less than 20 years later fate guided them to meet under one roof again and domesticity ensues.
