Summary
Six students at Taharim, found dead in their dorms in half as many months, overdosed on the same previously unknown drug found on the bodies of rescued sky-walkers. All evidence points to a Grysk plot to destroy the Ascendancy from within. Senior Captain Thrawn and Mid Commander Eli Vanto go undercover at Taharim Academy to root out this conspiracy. What they find may have far reaching consequences, both for themselves, and for the Ascendancy.

Omegas are the rarest designation. Less and less of them are being born each year. So, normally when one is - the family she or he was born into skyrocketed in status regardless of where they started. Unless the omega turned out to be one of those incorrigible types. The kind that wouldn't or couldn't submit like they were supposed to in order to fulfill their biological function in society.

The story starts with a fight, and ends with a fight. Din’s whole life is a series of them, one battle after the next, strung together and stretched out across the star system. Different planets, different allies, different enemies.
If nothing else, he would be making Mandalore proud, if it weren’t poisoned and made of glass; they are a creed, not a race. Every day, being Mandalorian is a choice, and Din keeps choosing to be strong. That is what he tells himself.
