“So, Lyle. You ever tie anyone up? Recreationally speaking.”
“Not really, sir, no.”
Quaritch’s grin broadens and he leans closer. “How about you? You ever been the one tied up?”
“Not outside of SERE training, sir. But I think I could be convinced.”
-----
Lyle decides he owes it to Quaritch to be upfront about his feelings. It goes remarkably well.

Summary
“Lick,” comes the whispered order. And Lyle is in motion.
It’s like an out-of-body experience. He watches himself wrap greedy hands around his CO’s wrist, holding him in place as he unfurls his tongue and drags it over the sticky powder. He goes in for another pass, curling his tongue into the spaces between long fingers and tasting the sweetness of the drug, ash, and an underlying note that tickles his neurons just right.
Quaritch’s breathless voice echoes at him from all directions. “Yes, that’s it.”
___
Lyle is feeling unsettled after a few weeks spent at the Mangkwan camp, teaching the ash people how to use human weapons. Quaritch decides it’s time to cheer him up. They get high off of Varang’s supply and things turn heated and more complicated from there.

Helpless, Wainfleet hears it slip out.

Summary
Spider has always been the "odd one out"—the human stray, the forest boy, the ghost in the machine. But within the Sully pride, he is something more: a cherished Omega whose scent is as sweet as rain on soil and whose heart is the glue holding his brothers together.
When the Sullys flee to the reefs of Awa’atlu, Spider finds himself in the crosshairs of Ao’nung, the Metkayina’s headstrong Alpha heir. What starts as bullying quickly shifts into a clumsy, desperate courtship that sets the entire village—and the Sully family—on edge. Between Ao’nung’s pride, Neteyam’s overprotective fury, and the watchful eyes of Toruk Makto himself, Spider must navigate a sea of Alphas to prove he isn't a prize to be won, but a soul to be seen.
“I’m a child of the forest, Ao’nung. You can’t just cage me in a reef and call it love.”
“I do not want to cage you, Spider. I want to be the water that carries you.”
