    "Oh." Sonic hums. He wasn't being entirely serious, but he guesses Shadow did come from a weird meteorite in the sky.

    A pause, and then-

    "Maybe it was the same star you came from." Shadow mutters, glancing over at the cobalt hedgehog.

    Sonic thinks he feels his face warm up.

    or, sonic and shadow are new to love. its kinda awkward to navigate when no one knows what theyre doing, but they make it work.
