Unfortunately, she can't really avoid hiding that anymore when she gets sick and her parents are gone to visit family for the week. An decides she'll care for Kohane. Unfortunately (unfortunately-er?) Kohane spent the rest of her sane rational thought on the act of texting with An and was totally delirious by the time An arrived. Yikes! As Shiho lathers the cream over her fingertips, she realises that her left hand is unusually tense, and as she tries to stretch out her fingers, it takes more effort than it would require usually.
Ichika must’ve noticed Shiho’s struggles — wordlessly, the black-haired girl gently takes Shiho’s left hand, and starts to massage it with her own hands, applying pressure into both Shiho’s palm and fingers. The two girls sit at the desk, a comfortable quietness around them.
This feels nice…
Then, Ichika brings Shiho’s hand up to her mouth, kisses the tips of her fingers, and Shiho’s brain promptly short circuits.
